Milestones met; farm animals to pet. Big weekend!

This weekend, this happened:

Completely sitting up on her own! Ah yes, the golden age! When we can sit her on a soft pallet, surround her with a bunch of toys, and leave her alone while she plays. Until she falls over, of course. Or cries because she can't reach the exact toy she wants. But that's what Cary and Dean are for!

Also, this happened this weekend: Clair's first taste of rice cereal!

My baby girl is growing up. She'll be 6 months on the 16th -- a full half-a-year old. Wow. It is really going so much faster this time around. I feel like she was just born.

Speaking of time moving fast, my nephew Russy turned 5 (!!) this weekend. And the whole family celebrated at a local farm.
Happy Birthday Russ Buss!!

The boys were happy to run around in the grass.

And they loved seeing all their cousins!

Cary loved seeing and petting the animals. Here he is feeding a goat and making happy chortling noises.
Dean had no love for the animals. He was happy just to have a Capri Sun at all times.

See?

Clair was the life of the party, screeching and giggling and making everyone laugh all day with her big personality.

And she and Matty were soooo sweet together! Look at them -- holding hands! Awwww.
We bought Russy a Skippyjon Jones costume for his birthday. But of course we had to try it out ourselves first. My name is Skippito Friskito (clap clap)...

...I fear not a single bandito. (Clap clap!)

Can't believe this little cutie is 5 years old. Again, happy birthday Russy! We love you!
