Embarrass Mommy While Daddy's At A Work Event: A play in one act
The scene: Electrician's in the kitchen. Kids are at the dinner table. I note an unpleasant odor. I know it well.
Me: OK boys, who has a poop?
One innocent face; one sheepish look.
Cary: I think Mommy has a poop! (Giggles)
Me: No, Mommy does not.
Dean: (Giggling) I think Daddy has a poop!
Me: Daddy's not even here.
Cary: The bapairman has a poop!!
(More giggling.)
Me: (In hushed tones.) OK, that's enough. That's not kind. The electrician does not have a poop.
Cary: (Loudly) Yes he does! The bapairman is STINKY!!
(Hysterical laughter. Even Clair is laughing. She has no idea why.)
Dean: THE BEPAIRMAN IS STINKY!!
Cracking up laughing to the point of choking...
And...scene.
