Today was a good day!

Today, my mother reported to the family that my brother, Rashad, for the first time responded to questions with a shake or nod of his head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is SUCH good news, I cannot even tell you! I am exploding on the inside!

I can't wait to go down to the hospital tomorrow to see him!

Meanwhile, I asked Dean tonight where his head was and he grabbed a tuft of his hair!

And when I asked Cary to turn the light off (while holding him up to the light switch), he curled his little pointer finger and pulled the switch!

My children are geniuses!

Also, it was reported -- finally -- that "Your Baby Can Read" is a scam, which I have been telling folks forEVER.

And to top it all off, Lester decided to splurge tonight and go pick up crabcakes and shrimp po' boys from one of our favorite seafood joints.

Yes, today was a good day!
